Wellbeing Coaching Programme

Positive Touch has been providing wellbeing services since 2001. In 2006 we added our Wellbeing Coaching Programme to our portfolio on demand of our clients.

Health is integral to all human experience so the benefits of coaching towards optimum health and wellbeing are not to be underestimated. Having both of these as the ideal state is consistently reinforced through medical and social research. It is so widespread in our media that it is now considered a lifestyle choice.

The programme uses a combination of assessment tools; exercises; brainstorming; face to face and/or telephone coaching and email correspondence. Preferred learning and communication styles will be taken into account and the coaching approached to best suit the recipients.

How can wellbeing coaching be used by individuals?

We have used our extensive experience and knowledge to coach individuals around addressing and improving their own personal experience of health and wellbeing.

Most people will come to the wellbeing coaching feeling that the condition of their health and wellbeing is having a negative impact upon their lives. If they feel 'unhealthy' they may be lethargic; self conscious or find that their increased susceptibility to illness is impacting upon their ability to live the life that they want.

As with all coaching, we work with you to create your best life. Wellbeing coaching has widespread benefits including increased personal affectiveness; increased energy and vitality; less sickness; improved relationships and increased opportunity.

How can wellbeing coaching be used by employers/companies?

We have also used our extensive experience; knowledge and longstanding experience of working with organisations to coach individuals and groups within their working environment to address and improve their experience of health and wellbeing.

Companies will come to the wellbeing coaching programme with a differing agenda to that of the private individual. There will often be a business issue driving their awareness of the wellbeing-effectiveness paradigm.

Legal and statutory obligations on employers are increasing. Companies are now required by law to demonstrate that they have interventions in place to address the wellbeing of their employees. Wellbeing coaching is a cost effective relationship rather than a 'quick fix'.Making it available to staff is a meaningful way of demonstrating that you care for the wellbeing of individual employees as well as the health of the organisation.

As with the individual, companies need to be healthy and well in order to be most productive. It is also important to remember that companies are made up of individuals and it is therefore in the company's interest that their people are happy and well. Absenteeism and it's costs to the organisation (both practical and financial); low morale andn energy in our fast changing work environments and the often confusing and unsuccesful array of employee wellbeing products available all add to the potential for companies and their staff to suffer, even fail.

The wellbeing coaching programme also seeks to create the best life for an organisation. It can be used with employees at all levels to encourage best practice and to capture the needs of each and every member of staff. We can coach teams and/or individuals to optimum health and wellbeing which will have a significant positive impact on the business as it's people will be at their best.

We can tailor our work with companies and their people to ensure that we work in accordance with the needs; objectives and preferred delivery methods of the business.
